I have had my Google Nest for a long time but recently updated my router and in the process lost my Chromecast connection to my TV (this is another story that involves BT TV - it is NOT the current issue) and it has been faultless, until now!
I tried to reinstall Chromecast and failed so abandoned any more attempts but lost my connection to the Nest Hub. Every time I tried to reconnect to my Router the password was rejected.
I have reset to factory settings multiple times
I have rebooted the Router
I have force closed the Home App and I have reinstalled the App
I have tried setting up the Nest from both my tablet and my mobile
I have removed "rooms" not occupied with any devices
Checked my Router password multiple times - It IS correct but Google says NO!
Chromecast worked before now but since installing BTTV I have been unable to link it to the BT Hub - But that's neither here nor there, or is there a link?
Simply put: The nest setup does not recognise my Router password.
Am I missing something very small but massively important? I am baffled.

What type of security did you setup on your new router? Be sure it's wpa2 and not enterprise or anything else, as that can cause a whack of issues with legacy devices
