Google Nest Speaker No Power

My speaker has just stopped working. There is no power.  I’ve tried all suggested trouble shooting and tried a different power cable. Please help. Is there a way to repair?

Thanks for posting here in the community. I'm sorry to hear that your Nest Speaker isn't receiving power.

 

I'd also like to ask a few questions:

 

  • What kind of speaker do you have?
  • Have you tried to use another wall outlet?
  • Is the official power adapter that came with the speaker used on the device?
  • When and where did you get the device?

In the meantime, try the steps here:

 

  • Unplug the power adapter from the outlet and the speaker.
  • Leave it unplugged for 20 seconds.
  • Plug the power adapter into the speaker or display.
  • Plug the other end of the power adapter into a wall outlet that works.
  • Check if any LED lights appear on the back of the speaker.

Hey Melany,

  • I have the Google Nest Audio - Stereo-Set - Smart Speaker. One of the speakers has stopped working. The other still functions.
  • The device was ordered online on 21.11.2021 from Tink GmbH, Gipsstraße 15, 10119 Berlin. The speaker stopped working around September 2022. 
  • The official power adapter that came with the speaker was the only cord used on the device. 
  • I have tried the steps you suggested in another wall outlet- doesn’t work. 
  • After it stopped working, I have tried the steps with the cord from the other nest, which is still working- doesn’t work.
I hate to be wasteful and just toss out the speaker. I’d like to have it repaired if possible.
