Google Nest Speaker blank after factory reset. No chromecast name/id displayed on screen.

When I started my speaker today it was stuck in spinning screen for a number of minutes.

I then performed factory reset. Speaker spoke to tell me to download google home app to complete setup.

I went into google home app and connected to device however the code displayed on the app was not displayed on the speaker screen which is just grey/black.

I proceeded to setup home anyway however speaker is still unresponsive.

The screen on the speaker appears to be flickering as well.

I have repeated this process a number of times.

Sorry just to confirm, you are saying speaker but do you mean Nest Hub?
