Google Nest or smart plugs, bulbs won’t reconnect to new Virgin hub

Upgraded to 1gig virgin package therefore sent new Virgin Hub5

 

Google nests won’t connect to new internet 

it sees the device

It connects to the device

4 blue dots appear on the speaker.

It plays the test sound

I select the new network ssid and click next and now i get the error, cant connect to the nest device! 

 

same with nest battery doorbell and smart plugs. Nest home hub has connected though and nest thermostat.

 

I’ve tried, reset wifi to factory, reset nests to factory setting, reset app. 

any ideas?

Thanks for posting—let's get this sorted out. A few questions: is the new router dual-band? If yes, on which band are you trying to connect your devices? Have you tried connecting them to the other band? Do you have another phone, tablet, or iPad you can try to use for the initial setup? I’ll look forward to your response.
