I am writing to express my deep disappointment in all of Google’s consumer products. Everything from the Google WIFI Mesh network not actually reaching its advertised range (and before you ask there is nothing wrong with my wifi signal strength or the layout of my house) to the Nest thermostat doing nothing to help me save on my energy bills to now my Google Nest Hub 2nd gen failing just 2 years after purchase! Furthermore, there is zero real after sale care for any of your products and it doesn’t take a genius to realise why. In my eyes you are now the purveyors of overpriced useless paperweights. Nothing you flog to the public has benefitted our lives in any meaningful manner apart from creating mountains of e waste as people throw out the useless paperweights you like to call tech! The last straw for me was when my Google Nest Hub 2nd Gen failed and there is actually no way of fixing it without replacing it with another one. Rest assured I’m very tempted not to spend my hard earned cash to buy another one of your useless pieces of garbage ever again and instead hand my hard earned cash to your main rival and competitor - Amazon.
