Google home Speaker auto pause

Hackerindio

Hi,

Suddenly, the casting started to be paused. Seems like someone auto clicks the pause button on the speaker continuously. Is there any chance to disable the pause feature from the speaker? When I see the Google home app, it appears the button as paused and then as playing and then again as paused and then again as paused, indefinitely.

Also, the voice of the woman when my speaker is with the mic in mute, it is happening so frequently that I need to keep. It disconnected as this is very annoying.

Is there any update procedure for the firmware or anything useful I can do to reestablish as factory mode?

Thanks,

mr

Hi @Hackerindio,

I understand that you're experiencing some frustrating issues with your Google Home speaker. It's really annoying when technology doesn't cooperate, especially when you're trying to relax or enjoy your music.

Let's work together to resolve this.

To start, I'd like to confirm a few details:

  • When did these issues start? Has anything changed recently, like a software update or new device?
  • Are you experiencing these issues with all audio sources (e.g., music, podcasts, videos)?
  • Have you tried using a different speaker or casting device?

While we figure out the root cause, let's try some basic troubleshooting steps:

  1. Restart your speaker: This often resolves temporary glitches.
  2. Check for software updates: Ensure your Google Home app and speaker are up-to-date.
  3. Verify Wi-Fi connection: A strong, stable connection is essential for optimal performance.

If these steps don't resolve the issue, we can explore more advanced troubleshooting options.

I'm here to help you through this process, so please don't hesitate to ask any questions.

Let's get to the bottom of this together!

Best regards,

Josh
