Google home and Spotify Premium Duo

I've seen a few similar posts but no actionable solutions, so I'm posting here!

I have 6 assorted Google speaker devices in a household of two people, plus Spotify on our mobile apple devices. I updated my Premium Spotify to Duo so that each of us can have their own listening account.

Is there a way to connect both Duo accounts to the Google devices with voice recognition so that San’s voice activates their Spotify and my voice activates mine?

As it stands, if I’m listening to Spotify on my phone, and San asks Google to play something on Spotify, my music gets taken over by the new request and switched to San’s device, or vice versa.

I use my account to teach a dance class, and this is challenging when it happens during session - it’s like a digital tug of war, resulting in me texting a reminder that I need the account to teach. This is why I pay for Spotify Duo.

How can San and I listen simultaneously via our separate accounts on different devices?

This seems to have worked but I won’t know until later. It’s at least guidance if I need to troubleshoot. Thank you!
