@BottleJack

I don't know what issues you're encountering, or whether you are doing a re-install after having previous issues, but perhaps this Google Nest Help topic will help:

https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9449420

Otherwise, you could try contacting Support:

https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp

Thanks for the reply.  I did try that.  When I go through the steps I get the something went wrong ,essage.

@BottleJack

"Something went wrong" really seams to mean Google Nest doesn't know what went wrong; you may need to contact Support to try to resolve it.

We've had a Nest Hub Max for a year and a half, with no issue, but it seems there are numerous posts recently from customers having problems installing or re-installing the camera on their Nest Hub Max. Maybe there are issues on Google Nest's servers.

Thanks I will try support.  It don’t even give an error code.

Hi there,

Got it. What’s the make and model of the mobile device you used for setup? What’s the firmware version of the Nest Hub Max? What is the model of your router or access point? Approximately how far is the router or access point from the device(s) that can't be set up?

I look forward to your response.

Thanks,

Juni

Why lock if I get a resolution shouldn’t it be posted so others can apply it if they have the same issue?

Hello BottleJack,

We appreciate that you wanted to update the thread with the resolution. Since you have an active case already, it is best if we continue through that channel because we might ask for some information that is not allowed to share in public. Also, you can always start a new thread if you have new issues, updates or just a discussion topic.

Cheers,
