Google home max just disappeared from my home app

So ive had this google home max for about a year I guess and it has worked flawlessly.  THen about a week ago it disappeard from my google home app and it wouldnt play or respond to commands.  I did a factory reset on the speaker and attempted to reinstall it.  Everything worked like nomal during the initial set up but when it disconnects from my phone and trys to reconnect to the wifi it doesnt connect.  I double checked the password, i even tried to connect it to another wifi network i have at my office and it still wont connect to the wifi.  What ele can i do?
