Photo frame works fine. I leave it one all day. I turn the display off at bed time, but it always turns itself back on at some point during the night. I want it to stay off till I turn it back on.
Suggestions? A setting I am overlooking?

Hi RichardW,
Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.
This is not the experience that we wanted you to have, let me help you out. Is this the command that you are using to turn off the screen? "Hey Google," then "Turn off the screen." If so, your screen should not turn on unless someone touches the screen, there is a routine set up or when someone makes a command. What steps have you tried so far?
You can do a sequential reboot. First, unplug your Nest Hub for 30 seconds, then do the same thing to your Wi-Fi router to refresh both devices and your Wi-Fi signal.
Let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Juni

Google nest hub 2nd gen
Did the sequential reboot but the screen still turns back on in the middle of the night.
I turn the screen of with Hey Google turn off screen (from the photo frame sreen). All is good but it turns back on at night on its own. We are retired...just the wife and I. No one else around to mess with it. We have the photo frame screen on all the time.
Thanks for your help

Hey RichardW,
Thanks for coming back to us. Which specific Nest Hub do you have (1st or 2nd gen)?

2nd Gen as stated above.

Hey RichardW,
Please turn off the motion sensing feature on the Nest Hub (2nd gen), then check if you will still have the same issue. Turning the motion sensing off will stop your device to detetc movements.
