Hi,
So far we are a google and android family. All of my kids have google emails, profiles, youtube accounts with their google emails, we manage it all through google family We are looking to make our home more "smart homey". I want to eventually have a hub that I can attach cameras too and make calls from, but the main thing we are looking at for Christmas are smart speakers for each room that will allow the kids to play different playlist in each room. I don't know if this is possible or how to set it up. I would love a speaker that also could set timers for them, alarms, and link to their calendars if possible. I love the idea of the broadcast feature on Amazon echos but I have no problem just hollering for them. Lol
Another big plus for us would be the ability to play audio books as they each like to listen to their own books and not each other's.
Would a nest or a home device be able to do what I'm looking for? Or do I need to look at something different

Hi Nswhite326,
Thank you for reaching out to the community. I understand that you would like to manage all the family members with Google speakers and displays. I'm here to help.
I really appreciate the details of your concern, and for this situation, you can create and manage a "speaker group" for your Google Speaker and Displays so they can edit their own playlists and set any schedule they want.
Here is a good article on how to create and manage speaker groups in the Google Home app.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
Regards,
Byron
