When my Pixel phone is in the same room as my Google Max and I'll give it a request like setting an alarm - both respond. In most cases I want Max to respond. When I ask Google to call someone Max responds faster than my phone. I want my phone to respond so I can take it with me on a call rather than be tethered to my kitchen. How can I prioritize the response of my devices?

Hi Nealji,
Thanks for reaching out. I definitely understand your concern, having two devices respond at the same time can be a frustrating issue. I would be more than happy to help find a solution.
Your best solution to this issue would be adjusting your "Hey Google" sensitivity so that all of your devices aren't responding at the same time. Here are the steps:
Set Google Assistant’s “Hey Google” sensitivity
IMPORTANT: When you adjust the “Hey Google” sensitivity for a device, it applies to anyone who uses that device.
Make sure the mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as the Google Nest or Home device.
With adjusting and customizing the sensitivity for each device, you can shape which device responds.
Please feel free to reach out with any other questions or concerns you may have. Thanks!
