Google mini overheating

My google home mini gets super hot. Not warm but HOT to the touch.

I have 4 other minis and they are just warm when plugged in.

Every day, multiple times a day, I have to unplug the unit to allow it to cool down.

I feel like this isn't normal, is it defective?
