Google nest 83905 error

I bought a used but refreshed Google nest point. In trying to connect it to my Wi-Fi set up I got the error code 83905. I did a factory reset twice I turned everything off and on could not move beyond the error code. I returned it to the seller and I bought a brand new Google nest device and got the exact same error code.  I am so frustrated. Looking back over the very little information on this it said make sure it is set to English everything Is set to English that is not the issue. So frustrated! Please help.

I’m having the same problem but my devices are not new. I came home from a week of vacation and they no longer worked. Tried to reinstall them now I’m getting this error 83905. I’m frustrated to say the least

Hi folks,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with setting up your Google Wifi. I'd love to know more about this and I have a few questions:

  • Where are you located?
  • What specific language is set to your phone's settings and the Google Home app?

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Edward

Hi everyone,

Just one quick final check in here since activity has slowed down. We'll be locking the thread in the next 24 hours, but if you still need help, I would be happy to keep it open. If there's more we can do, just let me know.

Thanks,
Jeff
