Google nest Home Max is unable to process anything

So in the last 2 months my home max will start to process a response to a question, but then seems to freeze for 20 seconds and then comes back with I had a problem wait a few minutes and try again".  Is this due to a firmware/software update?  One of my mini 2 speakers seems to have started it now too.  My works with google speaker does not have the problem.  Is this a known issue?

We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing this. Could you tell us the distance between your speakers and your router? Let's make sure that they are within 10-15 feet from the router for a better connection. Lastly, we can also try to reboot your devices simply by unplugging the speakers and router from the power source for at least a few minutes. That way, we can avoid the congestion on your network and refreshes your connection.
