Google nest hub watch camera and listen to music at the same time

Hello,

I was wondering if it's possible to watch a camera feed and listen to music at the same time on the Google nest hub. I want to watch my Google compatible camera as a baby monitor but also play white noise at the same time.

Thank you,

-Sam

Hi Sam,

Thanks for reaching out, that is a great question! I would be more than happy to help you.

Yes, this is an available action. You should be able to watch a camera feed and listen to music at the same time.

Please let me know if you encounter any issues or have any questions. Thanks!

Hi!

I can't get it to work at the same time. When I ask it to show the camera feed when it's playing music, it stops the music and vice versa.

Hello,

Did you have any tips on how to make this work in the end?

Thank you!

GOOGLE WHAT IS THE SOLUTION!? This just started happening and you aren't addressing the issue.

I've tried to start a new thread on this as it's never been answered. So frustrating

Obviously, because it can't be done...

Thanks for your extremely helpful comment 5 months after the original post. You've changed my life.......😂😂😂

Well, I came to that conclusion after reading 5 months of comments and retorts regarding the issue...

Just bought a new hub....It would stream both music and video feed.  Then the system updates an hour after I started using it and takes a away the simultaneous stream function.  wtf

Google’s customer service is ridiculous as usual. I have the same problem - this used to work fine an after some random update it has stopped being able to listen to music and see the camera feed. Even if I try and listen to music on other google speakers - as soon as I start the camera feed on the hub it turn off the music on ALL OTHER DEVICES IN THE HOUSE wtf!

Has anyone come up with a fix for this yet?
