When I cast from my phone, my Google nest will stop casting what I'm watching around 5 to 10 min in. I've looked at all settings. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

If you by any chance are trying to cast the video stream from a battery-powered camera or doorbell to your Nest Hub, "Live video from battery-powered Nest cameras and doorbells stops after 5 minutes."

I'm casting from my phone to the nest hub. I was using Plutotv and it plays for 5 minutes then turns off. Would this be the same issue?

I think yours would be a separate issue; the limit on streaminging from battery-powered cameras is due to not wanting to drain the camera's battery.
I found a couple of posts with reports similar to yours:

Yeah, unfortunately I've looked into all of these things and my hub still stops playing. Most of my other apps are fine (like YouTube). I probably should just use what I know works.

Hi dirtypretty,
This is not the experience we wanted you to have, let me help you. A few things: when did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made? Was the casting from PlutoTV on your phone to your Nest Hub working before?
As suggested above, it would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first:
Try casting again and tell me how it goes.
See this guide for more information.
Thanks for helping Dianahemes and MplsCustomer.
Best,
Dan
