Google nest mini microphone

Hi Google community,

I got my new nest mini and one major problem I am facing with it is the microphone. It seems to turn on and off automatically and when the microphone is off and I try to turn it on by flipping the switch, it does not turn on. I have not used it for a while now thinking that it might have been hacked but I want to get rid of the problem.

Sounds for me like a classical slack joint/loose contact. Better give it back since it is new and let change it.
