Google nest mini

My nest mini won’t connect from my laptop, which kind of device is it? It’s asking for us to choose a type of device. Speaker and Display wouldn’t work and it’s already connected to my wifi

If you have already set the mini up using the Home app on a phone, you can cast to it from a Music app, or connect it to your laptop as a bluetooth speaker. You cannot cast the audio portion of a video stream to it.
