Google nest photo album

I've setup an album in Google photos that consist of photos I want displayed on the Nest slideshow.

During the slideshow it will randomly display a banner asking if you want to see other photos from that day. If you select that it will show you images that are NOT included in the selected album(s).

How do you make it so that ONLY images in the album you have selected are displayed? This "feature" to dusplay images outside the selected album is a horrible user experience.

Hi BlandSalt,

Thanks for visiting the Google Nest Community.

Let’s check the setting in the Photo Frame. Open the Google Home app > Devices > Tap your Google Nest Hub Max > Settings > Photo Frame. Scroll down to the bottom and look for “Banner notifications” > Set it to Hide. Note that if you have more than one Google Account linked to your Nest display, you need to turn off banner notifications for each account. Reboot your Google Nest Hub Max by unplugging it from the power outlet for a minute, and then plug it back in. Monitor and see if the banner you’re getting will still show. If yes, kindly take a photo of it and share it here.

Regards,
Alex
