System had been working fine until I tried to upload some new photos to the display. I can’t connect to it even after cycling power to the router & display. Any help with reconnecting would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello,
Display model is H1A. Operates normally everyday. Scrolls through photos, gives weather, shows Nest doorbell activity, etc. Just can't connect to it on the network. I can connect to the Nest doorbell just fine.
Thanks, Fred

My device is a Google nest hub. I have an update related to my previous issue. I believe that my Google Nest Hub is connected to my network. All features of the hub appear to be operating properly. The issue is as follows: I have three Apple devices. A Macbook Air, a iPhone 13 and an iPad. When using Google Home to access my Google devices, I can only access the devices with the iPad. I can't access the Google devices with the iPhone or Macbook. I need to get access to the hub so that I can upload pictures from the Macbook.
Thanks for your continued support,
Fred

When I access Google Home on the web with my Macbook, it only shows my Nest camera. It does not show that there is a Display. I hope this helps.
Thanks, Fred

Hi 3cams,
Thanks for the update. In this case, just to confirm, do you have a Google Photos account? If yes, have you already linked this account with your device? This is the way to get your photos on the photo frame on your Google Nest Hub.
Please keep me posted. I'll be waiting for your response.

Jenny

I can only do that with my iPad. It is the only device that recognizes the display. I'll give it a try and get back with you. - Thanks, Fred

Hello, I followed the 4 steps listed above. Everything looks fine from my iPad. I just need to be able to see the Google display hub on my Macbook so that I can add more photos to the display hub. Are there any software/firmware updates for the display hub? - Thanks, Fred

Hello, The whole point of this exercise was to find out why the Display Hub does not show up in Devices when using the Home App on my MacBook-M1. I can't make changes to the Photo Frame if I can't see the Display Hub. Something is getting lost in the translation here. Can we elevate this to the next level? - Thanks, Fred

Hi 3cams,
Thank you for your response. I understand your situation; in this case, let me explain that you cannot see the Nest Hub while you are using your MacBook because you are only going to be able to change the settings for your Nest Hub on your smartphone.
The best option is to upload the photos from your MacBook to your Google Photos account and then set up the Google Photo Frame from your Google Home app on your smartphone.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Best regards,
Jenny

Hello, I have been able to add photos from my MacBook to the display hub in the past. And, as I said before, I can't see the display hub on my iPhone either, only my iPad. - Thanks, Fred
