My Google speakers and lights frequently stop “communicating” with each other. We reset WiFi daily sometimes multiple times a day. Sometime we go a full week without issues. We have small Google speakers, Hub and Hub Max. We say “Hey Google turn lights on” or turn a specific light name and nothing. Sometimes on the Hub Max display I can use touch screen to turn it on but voice does nothing. Sometimes using the app works usually have to reset WiFi to make it work all together. But after 3 times today it hasn’t helped.

I would suggest that the issue may not in fact be the Google products but your lights... do you happen to be using Philips Hue lights? If so, they have been having a lot of communication issues at my home as well.  My other devices, Such as TP Link Kasa lights, are working perfectly fine.  My suggestion is to check on your Hue Bridge and make sure it is up to date.

I have this same issue.  So annoying!  It started happening maybe a month or two ago.  All of my bulbs are C by ge. The funny thing is that I have a smart fan and it has zero issues,  but all of my bulbs have random issues.  For example, they did not turn off with the routine last night, but turned on and off this am with the routine. Google typically notifies me if it can't get to a device and it isn't notifying me that they are offline.

I have a similar issue. But I don't have lights. It is just the speakers. And I have to reset each speaker when the router/WiFi is reset. This is a long standing issue and has never been solved. I have 2 nest mini speakers and one home mini speaker and these keep getting lost from the Home app due to loss of WiFi and even if I attempt to ask the speaker to play a radio stream it just says "I don't have WiFi connected".
