How do I control speaker volume on a speaker group?

This question was asked before but the topic is closed and the accepted answer is not satisfactory. 

I want to PERMANENTLY adjust audio volume of individual speakers in a speaker group. I can do so with the manual controls on individual speakers but it does NOT persist.

The next time (day?) someone in the household casts audio, the volume is as it had been before.

This is extremely annoying with some bathroom speakers blasting at full volume every time.

I understand that it's frustrating when you can't permanently adjust the volume of individual speakers in a group. Let me assist you with this!

Currently, there is no option that allows us to permanently maintain the volume of a speaker when it is in a speaker group. But we appreciate your comments about this feature. You are a Community Specialist!  Congratulations!  Must be a great role that can help customers who post in this forum!

Accordingly - I ask - do you Community Specialists follow through, and either escalate - or - fill in the feedback form / etc that you Community Specialists seem to have as a response to 95% of posts on here?

What is the point of the community taking the time to post, if the only response is a template one asking them to go and fill in another form?
