How do I make white noise play for 12 hours? It used to but won’t work anymore.

Last night (and previous nights) my Google Home would play white noise for hours and hours after the command ‘play white noise’ but all of a sudden it won’t play for longer than 1 hour - for no reason.

It’s a nightmare as it keeps my baby asleep. Desperately needing to fix this so it continues to be hours (12 hours I think it’s supposed to be)

Is this a bug? I have changed nothing. It even does a count down on my Google Home app now. Stressful!

Hello Zoe Barnett,

I understand your concern, that is definitely an odd issue that is occurring! I would be more than happy to help find a solution.

I just wanted to confirm, have you tried to reboot and Factory Data Reset all of your affected devices?
A factory reset will reset your Google Nest or Home speaker or display to its default factory settings. Note: This action will clear your data from the device and can't be undone.

I look forward to your response, thanks for your patience.

Still doesn't work even after publicly saying they fixed it.  I'm going to have to buy a separate machine for my baby.  How disappointing!  Why change something that isn't broken??
