Hi @Kathleen1958,

Thanks for posting in the community. I understand that you're looking for a way to stop your photos from showing up on your Nest Display screen and that you can't get the camera. No worries, I'd be more than glad to assist you.

While you can't completely turn off the Photo Frame feature on your Nest display, you can definitely customize it to stop showing your personal photos by selecting a different background source.

  • Open the Google Home app.
  • Tap Favorites or Devices.
  • Tap Home > All devices, then touch and hold your device's tile.
  • Tap Settings (the gear icon) > Photo Frame. On this screen, you'll see your current selection, which is likely set to Google Photos.
  • To stop showing your photos, select one of the other options: Art Gallery, Full Screen Clock or Experimental.
  • Select your preferred non-photo background, and your Nest Hub screen will update automatically.

If you are using a Nest Hub Max (which includes a built-in camera), you need to make sure the monitoring feature is enabled in the Google Home app. Here are the steps to follow:

  • Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as your Nest display.
  • Open the Google Home app.
  • Tap Home > All devices, then touch and hold your device's tile.
  • At the top right, tap Settings > Nest Cam.
  • Turn Home monitoring features on or off.

Please let me know how it goes after trying these steps.

Regards,
Jonathan
