I'm trying to play music simultaneously at the same time on Nest Mini and a Bluetooth speaker. Not sure I've tried several times deleting and editing the list and music only plays on one of the connected speakers. How do I set it up properly to simultaneously play on two speakers at the same time?

Hello Aakarsh Belur,

Thank you for reaching out. I love listening to music on my Google Nest speakers so I understand the importance of this question. I would be more than happy to help answer your question.
  • Unfortunately, you cannot make a speaker group via Google Home App as your Bluetooth speaker is not compatible.
    • The speaker group option only works if all of the devices are:
    • Google Home, Google Nest Mini (2nd gen), Google Home Mini (1st gen), Google Home Max, Google Nest Audio, and Google Nest displays, Google Nest Wifi point, Chromecast with Google TV, Chromecast, Chromecast Ultra, Chromecast Audio, and devices with Chromecast built-in.
  • Also, Bluetooth only connects to one device at a time.
  • As a result, this is why you are only able to play on one speaker at a time.
Sorry for the bad news. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. Thanks.

what you've written is unclear. Can I connect a single bluetooth speaker (wonderboom) to my nest mini, and then listen to music on both of them? I'm only connecting to one device, right, so it should work?
