Can anyone help me troubleshoot this error? Do I need to be a beta user of Google Assistant?

Hey folks,

Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your patience. Our teams are aware and we're working on a fix. In order for the team to explore further, we need to gather additional feedback from affected customers.

Please replicate the issue first then immediately send feedback on the Google Home app by following the steps below or visit this link to learn more. Also, make sure to use the keywords: "GHT3 Unable to link Zoom account in the Google Home app."

Step 1. Turn on device reports

  1. Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as your Chromecast, or speaker or display.
  2. Open the Google Home app.
  3. Touch and hold your device's tile.
  4. At the top right corner of the screen, tap Settings > Recognition & sharing.
  5. Turn on Send [device model] device usage and crash reports to Google. (Example: Send Google Home device usage and crash reports to Google.)

Step 2. Share your feedback

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. At the top right, tap your account.
  3. Tap Feedback > tap the type of device you'd like to submit feedback for.
  4. To display available emails, in the "From:" section, tap the arrow on the right. Select your email address.
  5. In the feedback summary, write a brief description of your issue.
  6. Be sure to check the box for Screenshot and System logs.
  7. To submit feedback, at the top right corner, tap Send.

Let us know once done.

Cheers,

Muddi

Help please. I tired to use zoom on my nest hug max but it wouldnt allow me to connect to a meeting. Google responded with enter your meeting code but when to a blank screen and nothing further could be actioned. I've reset to factory settings and set up google nest again. I've unlinked my Zoom account and now I cant link it back up again. When trying to link it states "you cannot authorize google assistant" "Unable to install this app without the developer's account. Please contact the app developer to install? Not sure where to go from here?

Thanks for the info but that is what i've been trying to follow. Linking in the google home app doesnt work and results in the above error message in my original post.

natt1  I have same thing work good a few weeks ago.  I think Google  wants us to use Meet instead of Zoom.

That just repeats what I have already done, and probably anyone else having the issue. Zoom integration is currently broken

I'm afraid zoom on the nest hub is currently broken. We just need to wait for Google and Zoom to sort it out.

Zoom works great on my phone and 2 tablets.

No,  Cannot find anybody that knows.  Let me know if you figure it out.

This has been broken for ages. Since it is advertised as a capability of the hub max I think this is really bad.

Yes I agree! It is really bad that they are not able to fix this!! Even if Google meet my video is not working….it keeps going blank. I have raised another complaint, no resolve their either

Its been over a month and i still cannot connect Nest Max to Zoom . Any body had this problem and was it fixed.

Hello, unfortunately Zoom on Nest Hub Max no longer works (in association mode) since December 2022. Those who had already linked their accounts before can still use Zoom on Nest Hub Max. For the others, neither Google nor Zoom seem to want to solve the problem...

A Customer care team membert sent me a message.  "Our engineering team is still fixing not only the issue with Zoom but all the issues with the Google Nest Hub Max. We're about to release an update with all the devices with the latest firmware and OS version."

Hi everyone,

Thanks for visiting the Community.

We appreciate your patience on this. Our team is still looking into this. I'll be moving this conversation to the main thread and let's continue checking on it for updates.

Best,

Princess

And ? more than a month later, still no fix ? That's very frustrating in all honesty!

I think that they have just quietly dropped the functionality, it is more like six months since it stopped working. Since it was advertised as supporting zoom this is very bad

Will we ever get Zoom to work on our Google Nest Max?

Stacienoelle

Yeah it's annoying. I got it so I could go to online school on my hub, and not have to croud my laptop screen with my class and work. But ultimately it never happened and now I feel as if I waisted a bunch of money on just a bigger Google home device.  That isn't as smart as their other one.

I think someone should start a class action suite again Google, We paid good money for Google Max to use on Zoom. It work great untill December 2022.

Typical of Google. I avoid Google as much as I can.

Hi Sravakumar, according to this, Zoom meetings are only available with a Nest Hub Max -- Minis aren't supported.
