Trying to set up a Hub Gen 2. When I click on rooms the screen just goes black and doesn’t load anything, despite the home app on my phone having a ton of cameras lights etc.
tried a hard reset etc but still nothing
I see a ton of people complaining about this back to 2021 but nothing has been done about it? Is there a fix yet?

What happens if you are watching the hub and then bring up the cameras on your phone? I bet that temporarily fixes it. Absolutely maddening that the hubs are still doing this.

Np89, let’s further look into it. Kindly provide the System firmware version of your Google Nest Hub 2nd gen. Swipe up from the bottom of the display > Settings > About device.

Thanks for sharing the details. Are you also experiencing the same issue on your Google Nest display? When did you first notice it? Do you have other Google Nest displays that have the same behavior?

I have 3 nest wired cameras, 3 hubs. All the hubs have the issue with any of the cameras. They've all been factory reset with no luck. The only "fix" is leaving a laptop pointed to home.google.com or a phone/tablet using the home app.
Issue started around June with the 1.67 camera update
