Hello @johnjames and @Clay7448 ,  this is a known issue that Google has been working on, your best bet is to contact the support team directly through https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp?hl=en

Thanks. I have been researching this issue online and I am both shocked and disappointed that this issue was first raised as early as May 2021 and there is no fix yet. I see the desperation of other users from all over the world as they try to navigate the support staff at Google only to be told that a case has been opened.  This is appalling on the part of Google. I always believed they were a far advanced and a customer that was proud of it's products and services. This experience has completely changed that for me. I am lucky I am within the window of returning the product.

I will say that from what I have seen they are taking this seriously, and trying to identify the root cause of the issue.  I am lucky that both my regular hubs and hub Max have not experienced the issue.  I thought one had the other day, however a flick of the volume controls and it rebooted and worked fine, so I got lucky.  I really strongly suggest letting Google know through the support link I provided your thoughts, as that goes right to top brass and devs so they can make things right.

Alright, finally I was able to resolve this problem and get my Nest Hub back online, up and running!

All I did is hard reboot! Steps are as follows:

Step 1: Unplug the power adapter

Step 2: Press both Volume Up and Volume Down buttons together.

Step 3: Plug the power adapter while holding the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons together.

Step 4: Release both Volume Up and Volume Down buttons “immediately after” you the screen lights up.

Step 5: Wait for a about 5 minutes or until you see further instructions on screen.

Step 6: Follow on screen instructions to factory reset device.

Step 7: Wait for a about 5 minutes or until you see further instructions on screen. (To me it took about 2-3 minutes to get next screen, until then I was getting G-Logo Screen again)
