Mine is doing the same thing. I have tried factory reset, the recovery mode then reset, but there is no change

I "chatted" with support via this link - https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp
They took me through same process - no resolution - but agreed to arrange a replacement, just need to find receipt etc.
