Is there any way to stop the Hub resetting while listening to audio?

Is there any way to stop the Hub rebooting while I'm listening to streamed live audio? It does this at some point every night, which means I can lose 5-10 minutes of whatever I'm listening to on live radio (usually  BBC radio 4). There's no warning, but the audio cuts out and the device reboots.

Does anyone know any way I can stop this or at least defer it for a little bit?

Hi iqoniq,

Thanks for reaching out. That sounds like a very frustrating issue! I would be more than happy to help find a solution so that you can get back to listening to your music uninterrupted.

  • First, could you please try to do a Factory Data Reset? Is there any improvement?
    • A factory reset will reset your Google Nest or Home speaker or display to its default factory settings.
    • Note: This action will clear your data from the device and can't be undone.

Please keep me updated, I look forward to your response!
