I got the same issue here. Working perfect last night - tried listening to YouTube Music today and now it's just a black screen. If I ask assistance to open You Tube Music, I get the reply "Sorry I don't know where to play the video. Please tell me the exact name of the screen.". If I go into Media on the Google Home app, and try to select the device to listen to music on, I get a delayed response (after the spinning wheel of demise) in a black popup stating "Unable to play music on this device at the moment.". Is this a bad software update? How do i fix this?

Hi everyone,
Thanks for the help RachelGomez123.
Hi Khushbu, thanks for posting. A few things: which Nest display? When it goes to black screen does it recover on its own or you need to do a reboot? Which video service are you using? If it’s a phone screen issue, have you tried the steps RachelGomez123 provided?
Hi there MatWojko, thanks for posting too. A few things: which Nest display? When it goes to black screen does it recover on its own or you need to do a reboot? Have you tried doing the full reset and observe if the issue remains?
Keep me posted.
Thanks,
Juni

Hey folks,
We just want to check if you have seen our response posted above. Let's go ahead and perform a complete reset to your Google Nest speakers and see if there would be any difference on its behavior.
Let us know if you have additional questions, otherwise we'll be locking the thread.
Best,
Princess
