Languages and temperatures mismatched

Hi there. Hope this hasn't been asked before because I searched and couldn't find it. 

 

I currently own 3 nest minis (2nd gen) and 1 Google mini (1st gen). My language is set to English UK and temperature set to celcius. However, only the 1st gen mini is in englis UK & celcius, the 3 other minos are in English USA and Fahrenheit. I've changed the settings back and forwards and rebooted all minis but cannot get it fixed. Please help. Thanks in advance

Where are you using the devices? And not all devices are easily interchangeable between countries so that could be an issue. Have you tried recalibrating the location in maps? Honestly, though, everything goes through the Nest/assistant app, and the weather format is set in the Assistant and it's not possible to have two options set in assistant for the temperature unit. If one is set correctly the others should be set the same.

Have your tried factory resetting the devices that seem to be set for the U.S? Something isn't quite right somewhere in the setup or on those devices. The phone determines location and that's sent to the cloud account and fed back to the system, especially since they are all presumably on the same home WiFi network and user account.

@MrStingRing were all of the devices purchased in the UK? Seems very odd that one would be correct and the others not be correct. Here's why that is: the information for all those devices is determined by your account and personal results and settings in the Home app. None of the speakers as far as I know have GPS, so they can't on their own determine their location for if they could, there wouldn't be a mismatch. There are some details missing.

There's either an account setup issue, location setup issue, or a device being used in a country not intended or use of VPN perhaps. I don't know because those details haven't been shared.

Thanks for the reply! No VPN anyway. This issue has just randomly happened in the last 7-10 days. It's always been English UK and celcius and no account settings were changed. I've changed settings since to try rectify the issue though. When I check each individual mini, only gen 1 has a language set to UK, all 2 set to US for some reason. I purchased Gen 1 mini in Germany and its the only one that is still set to UK. All others purchased in Ireland and not working correctly currently. 

 

I've also just noticed that the 3 nest minis don't show up in Chromecast list but will cast as a group!
