I've got 5 google devices, and I tried to stereo pair two google speaker.
setup went fine but when streaming music to them, one always fails. "please connect, check wifi, etc)
and that kept happening after a couple of resets and setups.
but, what did work was to delete all the speaker groups that i previously had before the setup of the stereo pair.
and then re-stup of the new stereo pair. and streaming to them works and stereo sound is so nice over just mono.
so now after all that, I just need to re make speaker groups like i had before.

Hello Princess 😉
Thanks for the info, yes, i have the same devices. but my post also already had the solution that worked. and it shows there is a bug in the app, that if speaker 'Groups' are pre set, pairing stereo will fail, and if 'groups are deleted', then pairing stereo works. and then need to re do speaker groups setup again.

Hi mikele_2023,
Thanks for visiting the Community.
We're sorry to hear about this experience with your Google Nest speakers. For an immersive music and media experience, you can connect 2 speakers to set up stereo sound. Stereo sound pairing is available on Google Home, Google Nest Mini (2nd gen), Google Home Mini (1st gen), Google Home Max, and Google Nest Audio. Both devices need to be the same model (Example: 2 Nest Mini speakers or 2 Nest Audio speakers) and located in the same room. Could you please list down all the speakers set up in your home network so we can check what happened to your set up?
Looking forward to your response.
Best,
Princess
