Minis not showing on Spotify or Home apps

Help! The last couple of months (maybe since iOS 14) apps like Spotify and Google home can’t find or control minis from my iPhone!! 

I can verbally ask mini to play Spotify, but can’t control it from phone (choosing a speaker from list of devices etc, we have 5 minis).

Have checked network permissions, tried completely resetting a mini which eventually worked, then stopped again. WiFi is working perfectly in all other ways, devices all working perfectly verbally, I just want the devices to show up on Spotify and Google Home like they used to!!!

I'm having this same issue, and haven't found a work around! This morning I've tried factory resetting the mini, deleting and redownloading both the spotify and google home apps and nothing works. What's weird is my chromecast and lg sounder (both part of my google home network) show up on my spotify devices, the mini is the only one missing.
