Hi! Does anyone else have this problem below?
I only have 2 devices and one that I use as a speaker so I have no idea why there's 4, I have no idea how to get them to go away and have tried looking it up and have got no success, any help appreciated!

I know how it feels when something isn’t working as it should. Let's get this resolved, A few things: Are you using an apartment WiFi or your own private WiFi? Which Nest speakers? Aside from your Nest speakers do you have a Chromecast device too?

Hi, I use my own private Wi-Fi and have a nest hub, the only other nest speaker I have is a google home mini first gen.

Hi there,
Thanks for the response. Do you have a home member that have a Nest speaker/display or Chromecast device linked on the same WiFi? Based on the screenshot that you sent there are two devices not set up under your account labeled as other cast devices.

Hi sorry for the delayed response, no there are only the two devices, the other two are devices that used to be connected many months ago but haven't been connected to this wifi.

Hello there,
Thanks for letting us know. To make sure, where are you seeing these cast devices? Is this from your Google Home app or from your phone? Try rebooting your devices and router to see if you'll get the same result.

Hi, I see it from my Home app, I've rebooted both and it's still happening when I cast from my phone it happens. Though I've been stopped casting from my phone for a while and it seems to have stopped for a little while.

Chiming in to ensure everything is covered here. To confirm, does it show on the list of devices from the home screen of the Google Home app or it just showed up every time you cast? Do you have the same issue when using a different phone/tablet? Also, what is the current firmware version of the Google Home app on your phone?

Hi, It shows the list of devices from the home screen of the Home app, and no, it only seems to be happening on my phone. The current version of the app is 2.60.1.19

Got it! To confirm, have you tried the steps above? What happens when you tap the device on the home screen? Also, what is the make and model of your phone?

I've tired the steps above and it seems to be working as of now, I tried earlier today and the multiple controls have stopped, now it's just one. I don't know though if it's from doing the steps above or from updating my from from android 10 to 11 which I did yesterday, so that could be playing a factor, I will keep this updated if it happens again.
