Restarting the device and placing it into factory reset

Thank you for your post. Oh no! Not having a feature work is definitely concerning. I appreciate you taking the time to restart and do a Factory Data Reset on your device. I would be more than happy to help find a solution. First, I have some questions:
  • Which country are you located in? Features will only work on devices located in:
    • Google Nest Hub (2nd Gen): Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States (except for Puerto Rico)
    • Google Nest Hub Max: Australia, Canada, France, Japan, United Kingdom, United States (except Puerto Rico)
  • Are you located in a supported country as listed above?
  • Is this a new issue? Did your gestures feature work before?
  • Have you tried turning off and on the gestures feature? 
    • If you look at the bottom of this link, it explains how to use the feature and how to turn it off/on.
