Hello,
Whenever I play music, from my Spotify account, from my speak the songs will skip or pause after a few seconds. This happens when I set a routine from the google home app or when I manually cast to the speaker from my phone. This doesn’t happen when I cast to anything else like my ps4 or when I play music in the car. Only with the device. It’s troubling and frustrating at this point. Please help with any assistance you can share.
Thank you

Hi Davidryan28,
Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.
This is not the experience that we wanted you to have, let me help you out. A few things: which Nest speaker are we working with? Was this working before? If so, were there any recent changes made before the issue started? Are you still using the original power cord?
You can try to play music using YouTube music to isolate the issue. Check the sample command below.
“Hey Google” or “Ok Google” "Play music by [artist name] on [music service]"
Keep me posted.
Thanks,
Juni

Hello Juni,
Thanks for answering. I have the nest mini gen 2 I think. I would say it last worked about over a month ago but I don’t know when the issue exactly started. Just know the last time it worked for me. As far as I know, nothing has changed. Settings on both accounts haven’t been touched. I have the original cord.

Hi Davidryan28,
Thanks for the details you provided. Sorry that you are still experiencing the issue. Did you try playing music using YouTube music so we can further isolate the issue? Check the sample command posted on this thread and let us know the result by updating this thread.
Looking forward to your response.

Hello Juni,
I tried playing a playlist on youtube and it worked fine, other than wanting me to get more information on a premium account. I didn't hear any skips or pauses in the music.
Thank you,
David Ryan

Hello Princesss,
I don't mean to be direct, but this doesn't read like a solution to the problem I am still having. My Spotify music from either connecting through the Spotify app local network speakers, voice command play music on Spotify, or part of my routines through the Google Home app. I was hoping maybe for solutions or to continue assisting with the diagnostics for the troubleshooting.
Thank you for any assistance to correct this matter,
David Ryan
