I have three Nest Audio speakers and one Nest Hub 2nd Gen. When I run the "Good Morning" routine and get to the "News" all three speakers play my selected local content (Canada/Toronto) but the Hub ALWAYS plays news from Australia. Every device on the same network and I only have the one Google account. The Hub tells me local weather but ONLY Australian news. Did factory reset. Everything is up to date. I'm out of ideas. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
UPDATE: I reset it again and configured it using an old dummy Google account and the problem went away. It behaved properly. Reset it again and configured it again on my main Google account and the problem reappeared. Next step, I went into my Google Assistant settings and removed ALL of the news sources. I then re-added my local news sources and BINGO.....everything started working as expected. I will never know what the actual problem was but I will leave this here in hopes that it may help someone else down the road. Cheers! 🙂
