Having changed my modem to Telstra 5G my Google nest Max hub has had trouble connecting again. I have rebooted it many times and I’ve rebooted the modem many times. The Google hub now has a white screen saying almost done finish set up but I do note they can still use the Nest hub as a Bluetooth speaker and also the camera seems to work. I can even use Google Assistant to answer questions however when I play music I’ve got a blank white screen and for the rest of the time I have the almost done finish set up screen. I’ve also tried to connect using phone hotspot but this was also unsuccessful. Anybody got any ideas?

Hi Kenhol1960,
Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear about the situation that you are experiencing with your Google Nest Hub Max that is not connecting to the Wi-Fi after you change the modem to a Telstra 5G. I understand that you can use the Google Assistant and play some music, but then you get the white screen again. I appreciate the steps that you already try to solve the situation. But don't worry; help is here. In this case, after all the steps that you try, the recommendation will be to process a factory reset. You can check the "Factory reset Google Nest or Home speakers or displays" article to know how to do it. After that you can set up your device again with the new modem.
Please let me know if you have more questions.
Best regards,
Jenny
