Is there a way to control the good morning routine that starts when the nest hub max recognizes my face for the first time in the morning?
I would like it to show me what I have on today and the weather first.
It seems like this is a routine that I should be able to customize but I can't see the trigger in routines for facial recognition

Hey @Spud usually with a routine you can set an order for the content that you want to play as well as the order it's the two small horizontal bars on the left. Press and slide to the order you want.
Also, if I'm not mistaken if you're standing close enough for facial recognition, you should be able to swipe the screen to see a list of things for the day even while it's playing your new brief or whatever. I forget which direction but it's either left or right.

Thanks,
I was hoping to be able to customize it so when it sees me in the morning it shows my calendar in the first screen. I can swipe the screen but I have to swipe through 2 screens of content I'm not interested in before getting to what I want.

As I mentioned earlier, you can place the content in the order you'd like to see it so you don't have to swipe through multiple screens. You should be able to move weather and calendar to the top of the list.

How do I do that?
I might be missing something but I can't work out how to control this routine through the home app

See the link I provided in the very first message.

That shows me how to edit my own custom routines with Google assistant telling me things rather than my home hub showing me things. I can't find the routine that starts on facial recognition in any list. I also can't set facial recognition as a starter

This is what happens at the moment:
Nest hub recognizes me for the first time in the morning and shows a banner saying Good Morning Spud.
Screen then changes to content cards usually showing news and commute
I then need to swipe across past 2 screens of content I never want to see like meditation to get to my calendar.
This is what I want to happen
Nest hub recognizes me for the first time in the morning and shows a banner saying Good Morning Spud.
Screen then changes to content cards showing calendar, commute and weather.
Everything else could go on the next screen.

Face detection doesn't trigger a routine it triggers personal results. The device recognizes your face and pulls info from your calendar and location, etc. -- all which seem to be hardcoded and not user-definable. Details explaining this are also in the link provided. Since you used "good morning routine" which does exist, I thought that's what you meant because that can be user-configurable.
If you'd like to have the ability to adjust personal results info, leave feedback in the app, but as of now, it doesn't appear to be possible to manipulate and you will need to swipe.

Ok thanks. I appreciate your help

No problem -- do submit feedback, it's worth a shot; no telling what might come of it though.
