Nest Hub Max Update Loop

Hey all,

I recently did a factory reset on my Nest Home Max.

It allows me to set up the device again but from them on it gets stuck in the update loop. To troubleshoot I have tried

1. Turning it off and on again

2. Pressing both volume buttons to factory reset and try again

3. Changing the name I set it up with

"We've tried nothing doc and we're all outta ideas."

Please help

" You're my only hope"

Hey all,

It's fixed for me now. I'm guessing Google has done something back end to resolve it. Here's what I've done.

1. Delete any previous attempts to set it up.

2. Had it switched off at the power point for over 24 hours (not sure if this is crucial).

3. Turned on and factory reset.

4. Set up as normal.

5. Did a little celebration jig. I believe this is the most crucial step. 🕺🕺🕺

You can try setting it up with a hotspot. That helped here.

Tried resetting every single Nest Hub 2 recently in order to hopefully fix my Matter issues that showed up with V16 of Fuchsia. Of course it didn't help...
