Hello All,
I have been enjoying my HubMax for about a year now. All of the sudden, I could not connect to it from my phone.
I did a factory reset thinking that I will just re-pair it with my google home app.
Now when I try to set it up I get the following message
"THIS NEST HUB MAX Was manufactured for a different country, and may not be compatible with your Wi-Fi Network’ "
With that it won't connect to my 5Ghz or 2.4Ghz network. Any ideas? Why would this just start doing this.
Thank you all in advance

Hi @tstranz!
Thanks for posting in the community.
I’m sorry for the inconvenience that this Nest Hub Max may cause you. I can see that the device was perfectly working, but you were unable to add it to your phone. You tried to factory reset the device but started to receive the mentioned error message, and now you are unable to connect to your dual-band WiFi network. Let’s solve this together.
As it is not connecting to any of the bands that your WiFi router is providing, I will suggest you then factory reset the Nest Hub Max one more time and try to connect it to your phone using a mobile hotspot.
Note: To follow these troubleshooting steps, you will need two mobile devices.
Please check the following articles: Share a mobile connection by hotspot or tethering on Android, How to set up a Personal Hotspot on your iPhone or iPad and Factory reset Google Nest or Home speakers or displays.
Tell me how it goes.
Regards,
Daniel.
