I have created Google Home Automation scripts that when an animal is seen on any of the cameras it shows the feed on the Nest Hub (2nd gen) for 30 seconds so I can see what it is. As of today this now just says "The [camera name] doesn't support streaming to remote screens." I'm using the command "Show me [camera name]" and it's been working for months until today.

Upon further investigation I found that "Show me [camera name]" no longer works but it does work with "Show me [camera name] on [nest display]" but only if I say it. I have scripts that are supposed to display to the Nest Hub and those aren't doing anything, no error, just nothing happens.

Same. I’m locked out and cannot even get into my account

Interesting, I can access my account just fine through Google Home and see my camera feeds either on my phone/tablet or web browser. It just no longer can display to the Nest Hub (2nd gen) when I ask it to display the camera like it always did.

Hi @TheCrowing,
Thanks for posting here in the community! I'm glad to hear that the home automation scripts are working again as they should, and I also appreciate all the efforts you've been making to resolve this inconvenience. If you encounter any other difficulties, please post again in the community.
Additionally, @Fieryfox70, I'd like to confirm if you still encountered the same inconvenience with the account being locked and that you are unable to access it. If so, would you mind sharing more details, and what is the app that you are experiencing this situation with?
Please keep me posted.
Best regards,
Jenniffer

This script and similar others have worked fine for me for over a year. Now, the streaming commands do nothing at all. The announcement works, but not the streaming commands.
metadata:
name: Backyard person notification
description: Make an announcement and stream when someone is in the backyard.
automations:
- starters:
- type: device.event.PersonDetection
device: Backyard camera - Backyard
actions:
- type: assistant.command.Broadcast
devices:
- Hallway display - Hallway
- Kitchen - Kitchen
message: Someone is in the backyard.
- type: assistant.command.OkGoogle
okGoogle: Display backyard camera
devices:
- Family Room - Family Room
- Hallway display - Hallway
- Kitchen - Kitchen

I'm convinced Google is changing stuff on their backend. Looks like my scripts aren't working again to display animals.

Every other day it works and doesn't work? I'm curious why they are changing this and whether it will remain working.

The flip flopping continues, it's not working again today... sigh...

So far mine is still okay. Hopefully you haven't jinxed it.
