Nest Hub gen 2 won’t allow music for alarm notification in Australia. Any ideas?

I cannot play music for for my alarm on my Hub gen 2. This seems to be an issue in Australia. Anyone have any ideas on if this will resolved?

Thank you for your message. That is definitely odd, Australia is a supported country for the Google Nest Hub (2nd gen.). I would be more than happy to look into this issue. First, I have some questions.

  • Is this a new issue? Were your music alarms working before?
  • Is your device powering on and working normally besides this issue?
  • Can you try to do a reboot and a Factory Data Reset? Is there any improvement? 
    • A factory reset will reset your Google Nest or Home speaker or display to its default factory settings.
      Note: This action will clear your data from the device and can't be undone.
