Nest Hub pauses media

Whenever I use the best camera on the hub, all chrome cast devices pause.

Same problem when view nest cam footage on google hub then all media is paused on every device within Google home network. Google please fix ASAP!

I just wasted a bunch of time today trying to fix the nest hub from instantly pausing in my kid's room.  Rebooted everything I could think of and it started playing without pausing again.  Just now it started doing it again and discovered it was due to my other kids calling each other on their nest hubs.  When in a call no other nest hubs or JBL link views in my home will play anything.  It renders everything else on the network incapable of streaming anything...music or video.  Google you need to fix this nonsense.  I honestly don't know if this is a new bug or it's always been this way.

This has been a known issue/bug for over two months.  A month ago, we were supposed to have an update in two weeks.

 

This is a major flaw that is preventing a primary use case for both hubs and cameras.  We use the hubs and cameras as baby monitors.  Bricking every other device when we stream a single camera is unacceptable.

 

Over two months of a serious bug is also unacceptable.

Thanks for your comment. I can fully assure you that this issue is escalated and being worked on by the team.  As I stated in the comment above, I do not have information regarding a fix date yet.

Bumping up this post because I think the bug has finally been fixed this week. Loading a Nest cam on my Home Hub no longer pauses my YouTube playing on my TV.
