Nest Hub sunrise alarm only brightens smart bulbs when they are on.

I am using sunrise alarm on my nest hub.

I've experimented and have come to a conclusion that the lights on brighten if they are manually turned on and for some reason it doesn't turn the lights on.

-I have turned on the settings needed in alarm settings

-I have asked google assistant to turn on gentle wake up

Please help, this is an awesome feature, if it would work.

Just wanted to say that I have noticed exactly the same behaviour. Nest Hub Mini and Yeelight. Tried with Yeelight and Mi Home integration. Very disappointing 😞
