I am trying to set up my Nest Hub (2nd Gen) with no success. I have now spent multiple hours on this issue and have tried all recommended fixes. I keep getting the message "Nest Hub has been found. It needs to be activated before setup." And " The device has a few extra steps before you can start setup."
When I select "Go to Help Center" they suggest using a device other than a Pixel phone to complete setup. I don't have another device. I have all the location services turned on as well as wifi and Bluetooth. I have reset my router, my phone, reinstalled the Google home app, moved both the Nest Hub and my phone right next to the router. Nothing.
Any suggestions? You would think the Google devices would work more seamlessly than this.
