Nest Mini Gen 2, It can access Gmail contact list, but double beebs when placing call.

When you say "Hey Google, call Bob" the Mini responds with "Call Bobb at 555-55-5555?"....when you reply "YES" it then says "Calling Bob. other"......then after about ten seconds it does a double beep then nothing.

None of the contacts in the linked Gmail account have "other" in them.  All the cell phones in the room are shut off and I have put contacts into Gmail that do not exist on anyone's cell phone.

Sorry to hear about the troubles you're Nest Mini and the Google Assistant are giving you, I'm sure it's confusing, but I'm happy to help where I can. 

Have you double checked the contact of "Bob" to make sure that they only have 1 phone number associated to them? That may be the issue where the Google Assistant is getting confused if there are more than 1 phone number in the contact. 

If this isn't the issue, then I would suggest reaching out to the Google Assistant Forum.
