Nest Mini Wifi Re-connection Issues

I moved a Nest Mini speak to a different room and then later moved it back to the original room.  Once I plugged it back in at its original location, it wouldn't simply reconnect like usual and forced me to go through the first-time setup flow.  During that flow, whenever I get to the step of connecting it to Wi-Fi, it errors out.  I've moved it around to other locations, tried manually entering the Wi-Fi password (instead of using the auto-connect option), I've tried a factory reset and nothing has solved the issue.  

This speaker was working fine up until I moved it back to its original location and that includes working fine in its original location before I moved it to the other room.

If you're still having trouble setting up your Nest Mini, please give these steps a try:

Reboot your router
Make sure your devices are within 15-20 feet of your router.
